I’ve been meaning to write about Evernote’s relaunch, but have been too busy with other things of late. Anyway, if you want to see what Evernote is all about, the best place to go is Warner Crocker’s excellent InkShow over at gottabemobile.com.
I’ve used Evernote, on and off, on the Windows Tablet PC platform and found it to be quite useful. Well the guys at Evernote have totally redone the computer version of the product for Windows, added a Mac version, and built a really nice web version as well. The beauty of this note taking, image capturing platform is that all these instances can be synchronized…and accessed online.
Watch Warner’s InkShow to get a better handle on what Everote can do, or leave a comment here and I’ll send you an invitation to the beta. I have a limited number of invitations, so it’s first come first served.
Ok, this is interesting. Apple has had an on again, off again relationship with the Indian market over the years. While on my October 2007 trip to India, I only noticed a few Apple reseller outlets - resellers that were based mainly in places like Hyderabad and Bangalore. Reports now indicate a link-up between Apple and India’s Reliance. They will build 60 iStores across India and will offer the full range of Apple products.
The announcement makes perfect sense to me. There is a huge pent up demand for products like the iPod in India. Even the MacBook Air, listed at Rs. 99,000, will feed young India’s lust for ‘luxury’ products. [Linked via TUAW]
I’ve been working my way through Google Sites, while comparing it to the original JotSpot account I had. So far the feature that I miss most is the ability to email to a page on Google Sites. Emailing to a page in JotSpot made it possible to enable pages as excellent stores for files, notes, etc that were related to a given project. Anyway, just one bump in the road so far…
